What does the ELBHO Foundation do?
The ELBHO Foundation is an independent body that provides the accreditation of internship companies in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Europe, that provide internships for students pursueing degrees (Associate Degree, Bachelor and Master) in higher vocational education/university education. By accrediting internship companies, we guarantee the quality of the (graduation) internship at internship companies for higher education. The ELBHO Foundation checks a number of conditions that internship companies must meet in order to become ELBHO®-accredited. For example, we look at the size of your organization (number of FTE), number of internship supervisors, number of internship vacancies and facilities. If the conditions are met, the ELBHO®-accreditation is granted.
